Store Manager,Premium Brand-Fashion Retail

The Store Manager must understand the business of fashion and set an example to all by providing exceptional sales and customer service. The manager seeks ways to build relationships with customers and develops associates to build clientele and increase sales. The Store Manager is responsible for retail sales in all aspects including customer service, orderly and appealing merchandise presentation, staff training, motivating and communication, housekeeping, upholding company policies and procedures, managing supplies and cash. The Manager should lead and inspire the team. We are looking for a manager who will enhance the brand image of the store and products and will positively impact sales and the customer experience! Job description • Must ensure that store achieves sales goals • Exhibit sales leadership • Plan and direct daily store operations – inventory procedures, cash controls etc to minimize store losses • Manage staff and assign duties and ensure adequate staff levels at all times • Train and motivate all employees in sales, customer service and product knowledge • Ensure the image is maintained in merchandising and visuals as well as housekeeping standards • Adhere to company policies and procedures • Provide excellent customer service in order to build clientele and to help in loss prevention • Monitor clientele books and coach staff to improve clientele skills • Resolve problems that arise such as customer complaints • Cultivate an environment that excites and welcomes the customer and encourages sales Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Effective communication, organization and leadership skills • Demonstrated Sales excellence • 3-5 years experience in retail fashion management preferably in a clientele environment; Premium branded denim, experience is an asset • Fashion/brand aware • High energy, enthusiastic - thrive in a fast paced atmosphere • Customer service oriented • Ability to solve problems and make good business decisions • Ability to build positive business relationships • Physical mobility to work for extended periods , standing, walking, handling merchandise and supplies • Able to maintain strong relationships with store and head office personnel, assisting customers and working as a team • Sense of urgency • Computer skills • Ability to work varied days/hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as Required; Managers are expected to work 44 hours per week – 2 evenings and 1 day on the weekend
