Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Accounting team.

Great Connections is a leading employment agency in GTA, most of our clients are Fortune 500 Companies.

This position will report to the Accounting Manager and the ideal candidate for this position is a quick-learner, high achiever with a positive attitude who is looking for an excellent job opportunity in which they can thrive and integrate quickly into our team-based environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enter personnel information for the newly hired employee
• Issue Record of Employment when separations
• Collect timesheet, enter hours to process the payroll at Biweekly basis
• Follow up payroll issue
• Answer questions from CRA, Services Canada or employees
• Other job duties assigned 

Requirements:

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Good sense at numbers and impeccable attention to detail
• Effective communication
• Good time management to meet the payroll deadline

Working Location: North York
