Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Our client is leading Canadian banking institution. We are looking for Bilingual Contact Centre Rep for their banking call centre in Saint John. Reporting to the Team Leader, Client Accounts, the incumbent is responsible for the timely collection of accounts for bank. This will include handling questions/problems concerning payment options, and preparing adjustments.

 

Contract term: 04/12/2017 to 03/12/2018, temporary to permanent 

Pay Rate: $ 18.00/hour 

Scheduled hours of work: Tuesday to Friday 1:00pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday 9am-5pm

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely collection of accounts.
  • Handle fair share of incoming calls
  • Responsible for making contact by both telephone and correspondence, with respect to overdue payments.
  • Handle client inquiries in regards to client accounts or PAD by telephone, letter, or in person.
  • Forward registered letters and cancels policies for non-payment.
  • Prepare account adjustments for arrears, return cheques and write-offs.
  • Enter abeyance notes and instructions.
  • Review abeyance file and ensures instructions are followed.
  • Follows up on daily abeyances in a timely manner.
  • Interact with the Client Service Center, and provide support regarding accounting issues.
  • Ensure department objectives are met on time.
