Light Production / Filling Operator

Our client is a leading CPG Manufacutring company. We are looking for Line Production /  Filling Operators to join us ASAP.

• Working in Vaughan / Concord Areas
• Day and Afternoon shifts
• Wage: $17.50 - 18

The Filling Operator ensures that their production line bottles are being filled accurately and at a high speed pace.  They will assist in line changeovers to accommodate the different sizes of bottles, labels and products. Filling Operator must be able to be flexible and jump from job to job as needed.

·         Must be able to thoroughly understand, interpret, and sign off on quality control documents accurately.

·         Must be able to perform basic math

·         Must be able to speak, read, and write English

·         Must have experience using basic mechanical tools ie) wrenches, screw drivers

·         Must have fast paced production line experience

·         Must have a good knowledge of the basic mechanical equipment

·         Experience with packaging line equipment such as capper machines, label machines, date code stamp machines, box sealer, case erectors, case packers, or palletizers a bonus

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

•           Quality (maintain weight, case condition)

•           Fill out quality reports

•           Fill weight targets

•           Bring materials to line (labels)

•           Compare line specification sheets with product materials after line changeovers

•           Verify correct product is running and coming from the correct tank

•           Read/Interpret and verify line schedules

•           Prepare lines prior to shifts

•           Understand and complete all quality documents with 100% accuracy
