Mobile Developer Lead

Our client is looking for Mobile Development Lead, the role is to contribute to and oversee the development of best-in-class native mobile applications for clients across multiple industry verticals such as QSR, Gas & Convenience, Grocery etc. You will be responsible for making key architecture decisions in the development of native mobile applications for iOS and Android, employing best practices and design patterns with scalability in mind. The ideal candidate for this position is able to contribute to the team with a mix of hands-on development and mentorship for existing team members. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will work closely with both customers and internal teams to plan and deliver world-class mobile experiences to our clients, while ensuring the highest standards in code cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement mobile applications tailored to client requirements
Manage mobile team priorities and mobile feature roadmap
Plan and propose architectural changes where appropriate with scalability in mind
Work with backend team to understand and consume platform APIs, and to suggest modifications where appropriate

Required Skills

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience developing native iOS apps in Objective-C and Swift
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience developing native Android apps
• A portfolio of past projects to demonstrate and highlight the above skills
• Previous work with developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience in managing a team and assigning tasks/priorities

Beneficial Skills

• Domain experience in Retail/Fintech/E-commerce
• Experience with React Native
