Web Developer

Our client is looking for a Web Application Developer, the role is to contribute to the development of new features, enhancements and bug fixes for web product offerings. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for understanding and estimating effort for new feature requirements from both internal and external stakeholders, and implementing those requirements in an agile development framework. You will be exposed to a fast-paced environment and will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside our team and the company as a whole. 

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates on new features and bug fixes
• Implement UX designs provided by design team using CSS, HTML and AngularJS 

• Work closely with QA team to develop automated functional tests for new features and enhancements 

• Work with backend team to understand and consume platform APIs, and to suggest modifications where appropriate

Required Skills 


• 3+ years of front-end web development experience using CSS, HTML and JavaScript 

• 2+ years of professional experience using a web framework such as AngularJS, React or Ember
• A portfolio of past projects to demonstrate and highlight the above skills
• Previous work with developing and consuming RESTful APIs 

• Well-versed in Git for version control
         

Beneficial Skills 


• Experience with PHP development 

• Experience with database management using SQL
• Worked with CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS)
