CNC Operator_night shift

Our client in leading manufacturing industry is looking for a CNC Lathe Machine Operator in Richmond Hill. 

LOCATION: Richmond Hill

PAY RATE: $17/hr+$1/hr shift premium

Temp to perm position 

Night shift 11:00pm-7:10am

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for operating CNC machines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Operate CNC machinery for production to established production rates

·         Operate manual machines as required

·         Use measuring instruments to maintain required machine tolerances

·         Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts

·         Complete other production related tasks as directed by supervisor

·         Package and apply proper identification of machined parts

·         Follow standard work practice-method sheet and instructions

·         Maintain good housekeeping, follow lean Manufacturing Process and FEM requirements

·         Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipments and tools

·         Wear appropriate safety equipment

·         Adhere to company policies and safety rules

·         Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor                                                                         

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:

·         Past experience working with CNC Lathe and Milling machines

·         Ability to read blueprints / drawings and follow engineering instructions

·         Ability to use various types of measuring equipment

·         Ability to use various types of hand and power tools

·         Crane training an asset

·         Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles

·         Good verbal and written communication skills

·         Previous work experience in an ISO certified company preferred
