Leading cosmetic company is hiring Line Set Up Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Follow GMP protocols.
• Clean and organized cleaning area.
• Clean and sanitize sink at the start of shift.
• Clean and empty garbage can at the end of shift.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies.
• Clean and replace tools after being used.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and place in plastic bags and secure with a tie wrap with proper labeling.
• Prepare carts for set up of equipment.
• Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Training of personnel when required.
• Writing and/or assisting in writing work instructions for equipment assembly and cleaning and sanitizing.
• Other duties assigned.
   

Physical Requirements:

• Constant movement of neck (head-tilting, turning left or right)
• Repetitive and/or forceful finger movements
• Constant wrist movement
• Fast paced environment
• Manual dexterity
• Repetitive tasks
• High attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds to shoulder height
   

Job Requirements:

Education and Training: A two to three year diploma in mechanical or electro-mechanical program is a definite asset.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in set-up of packaging/filling equipment including labellers, conveyors and case sealers preferably in a cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Other Skills Required:

Able to work independently in a fast paced environment and completing work on a timely basis.

Able to read, understand, interpret and apply technical writing, SOPs and instruction.

Take initiative to continuously learn how to troubleshoot the equipment and to learn new skills.

Pay rate: $12.60 per hour with a $1 shift premium
