Our client is looking for IT resources located to join the company in Downtown Toronto (King & Adelaide).
The company is an engineering company working within mining industry.
As a Support Engineer you will need to:
- Log, update and communicate with clients via the support ticketing system;
- Perform normal LAN Administration tasks;
- Be able to support, maintain and troubleshoot customer IT infrastructure environments;
- Be able to support, maintain and troubleshoot customer application environments – Desktop and Servers;
- Be able to assist customers with new requests, manage change and installations;
- Interact with 3rd party vendors;
- Support and maintain server and end user infrastructure in various North American locations
Technical Requirements:
- Basic Knowledge of IP networks, wireless networking, routing, switching and firewalls
- Microsoft Server 2008 R2 – 2012 R2
- Microsoft core networking services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Microsoft Exchange 365
- Microsoft SQL Server - Basics
- DELL Server Configuration and Installation
- Virtualisation – Hyper V and/or VMWare
Working Location: Downtown, Toronto
Salary Range: $70K- $75K
