System Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics, pharma, & cleaning products.

Essential Job Functions

- Oracle/SQL database administration and AIX operating system support.
- Administration and support for EnterpriseOne CNC technical issues
- System health checks/restarts
- Environment creation and maintenance
- User id maintenance
- EnterpriseOne security maintenance
- Manage tickets in our web-based support system
- Manage escalation of support tickets with various managed services support vendors for the EnterpriseOne systems and infrastructure

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to communicate clearly within IT, the business, and to external service providers. 
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology profession with specific focus on Midrange platforms and Middleware applications. 
- Experience with IBM P/Series LPAR and Virtualization Technologies
- Oracle Database Administration including backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, testing
Unix System Administration
- Working knowledge of IBM AIX
- Experience supporting application developments teams throughout project lifecycles
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Superior troubleshooting skills and priority management

Nice to have skills

EnterpriseOne CNC technical analyst experience is preferred.  (1-3 years of experience as a junior or intermediate E1 CNC technical analyst)

MS SQL Server Database Administration

Salary: $65,000-$85,000
