Machine Operator Helper (Cosmetics Company) – Scarborough

Job Description:

 Purpose and Scope:

 To assist in operating the machines in a fast and safe manner.

 Responsibilities:

 To provide support to the Wet Slurry/Powder Press Machine Operators

 To load pans into the molds

 Able to make suggestions

 Assists with other duties when assigned

 To pack/inspect filled pans into pizza boxes and or trays

 During change over assist in washing molds

 Ensure correct quantity and information recorded.

 Must be fully aware of all safety turn on turn off switch

Job Requirements:

 Experience

 Preferably, with minimum of 3 months working experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or

related manufacturing company, preferably in a GMP environment.

 Machine operating experience is an asset

 Other Skills Required

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work in a fast paced environment

 Able to complete paperwork with accuracy

 Quick learner and can pick up new skills as taught

 Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

 Physical Requirements:

• Handling medium to heavy loads; able to lift up to 5lbs on a regular ongoing basis

• Manual dexterity

• Repetitive tasks in fast paced environment

• Standing for long periods of time
