Banking Credit Analyst

Our client is a leading Canadian banking institution.

Payrate:$17.39/hr

30 hrs/week: Monday - Friday 8AM - 9:30PM; Saturday 8AM - 6:30PM; Sunday 9AM - 5PM; Flexibility req

Location: Nanaimo, BC

MUST HAVE:

• Time management skills
• Analytical thinking
• 3 years customer service experience

NICE TO HAVE:

• Previous banking/financial experience
• Call centre experience
• Credit or Adjudication experience

The main functions of a Credit Analyst is to optimize credit opportunities by adjudicating, structuring, packaging and authorizing credit within designated limits while providing a high level of customer service to our business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Process applications from dealers, adjudicating deals, speaking with dealers, communicate with sales people, review credit applications, toggling through various screens and applications and other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills
• attention to detail, and critical thinking
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline preferred
• An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
• 0-2 years financial and/or accounting experience required
