Senior Programmer Analyst

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics, pharma, & cleaning products.

The successful candidate will be part of the team of developers responsible for creating and maintaining custom application objects.

The candidate will take direction from the Manager of Business Systems with respect to work activities, quality management practices and methods and procedures for performing technical tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing applications to meet the need of the business

Documenting, testing, deploying and supporting developed applications

Participating in analysis of client needs and implement new features into production

Performing peer code reviews and participation in quality management

Automating reports generation and distribution.

Required:

Proven experience coding in VB,VB.NET , C#

Proven experience in SQL

Proven experience in MS SQL Server Database development (e.g. stored procedures, user defined functions)

Experience w/ XML technologies

Experience with Crystal Reports programming

Experience using source control software (e.g. VSS, SVN)

Experience with Software Development Lifecycle process

Experience using Microsoft SharePoint

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Considered an asset but not necessary:

The ability to code in VBA, and Access

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience

Programming in 4GL

Supply Chain and/or Finance experience

Other requirements:

For this role you also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You have the proven ability to provide service, develop consensus and successfully manage relationships.

Salary: $70,000-$85,000
