Job Description
The Business Systems Officer position supports the equipment and technology infrastructure for Transaction Processing & Banking Services businesses. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; liaison with Premises, Help desk, Access Services, Technology Services providers, etc. The position also supports the units by identifying, highlighting and resolving equipment, technology and premises issues and provides information, guidance and training on operating systems. The position reports to Operations Manager. We require an energetic, self-motivated individual who will support the strategy and implementation of business initiatives that we deliver while modernizing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide day to day technical support/solutions through knowledge/experience of systems and software while maintaining effective/legendary relationships with internal and external partners
• Ensure equipment, premises and technology issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner; escalating further as necessary
• Coordinate the delivery and installation of all equipment, technology and premises needs; adhering to set deadlines
• Identify equipment needs to streamline procedures/processes and enhance service not just within Creekside but across all units (Creekside/Western/Montreal).
• Conduct regular review and attestation of employee system access; equipment inventory, etc.
• Develop, build, maintain and support databases, EUCs as required and various programs as required
• Conducts testing of key components within the Business Continuity Management plans for the units
• Works on initiatives and projects from an equipment/technical/access/premises perspective
• Supports the ongoing improvement of the partner/customer and employee experience
Requirements:
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure key deliverable dates are met, while managing business strategy
• Ability to work independently and effectively with other team members and business partners (internally and externally) by prioritizing workflow
• Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills – able to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization
• Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills with strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly articulate situations at hand
• Capability to independently perform research and make informed decisions/recommendations based on experience and knowledge in support of business initiatives
• Adaptability to effectively perform in a fast paced environment with ongoing change; including the flexibility to conform with changing immediate priorities
• Proficient in problem solving and identifying resolution
