Payroll Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator for a 2-3 months contract for a manufacturing company located in Scarborough. 

2-3 months contract, may transfer to full time depending on the person 


The core responsibilities would be:

· Reviewing hourly employee timesheets (both company and agency employees)

· Submit hours to the agencies on a weekly basis

· Reconcile all invoices against timesheets submitted

· Create Labour Ticket reports and send data to Accounting on a daily basis

· Provide any explanations or information regarding any Labour Ticket variances

· Create new employee profiles in Dayforce

· Listen and report all attendance calls and create absent reports

· Assist our Payroll & Benefits Coordinator with training and processing the hourly payroll

· Create new employee files; promotions; transfers

· File all payroll documentation

· Interact with employees and answer all inquires


Qualifications:

· 2 – 3 years of payroll experience in Manufacturing environment

· CPA designation is an asset but not a requirement

· Employment Standards and HR knowledge is an asset

· Experience in either Ceridian or ADP software is a must especially timesheet modules. Dayforce experience would be an asset.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Good communication and organizational skills

· Must be fluent in Excel and Word including pivot tables, sorting, VLOOKUP, creating labels etc.

· Computer skills and tech savvy is an asset
