Shipping Receiving Forklift Operator

Leading Cosmetic Manufacturing company looking for 3 Warehouse Associate positions in Scarborough.

They are 4-month contracts until the end of August 2017.

The Warehouse Associates need to have experience operating the counterbalance forklift, reach truck, and walkie. They also need to be certified/licensed by an external institution.

Job Duties:

-- Sorts and consolidates goods for shipping. Ensures packaging is adequate to support the products to avoid damage.
-- Prepares all required documentation for domestic and international shipments
-- Processes ASN’s on Client Portals, processes Shipments on UPS/FedEx systems
-- Liaison with Production, Account Management, and QA/QC groups as well as communicates with freight forwarders to arrange for pickup and delivery in the fastest and most cost effective method
-- Wraps, weighs and labels shipments in compliance with transport regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

-- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in warehouse environment; preferably in a cosmetic/pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment
-- Shipping/receiving experience
-- Experience operating counterbalance forklift, reach truck, and walkie in a work environment
-- Possess a valid forklift license (external license)
-- Working knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP Training)
-- Must be computer literate
-- Good written and oral communication skills

Dayshift, Hours are 7:30 am-4:30 pm
