Technical Sales Coordinator

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturing company. We are looking for a Technical Sales Administrator to join the company. 

To perform and administer the Sales Co-Ordinator function within a Platform Team and to ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

A.      Perform tooling audits.

B.      Provide customer with account of tooling costs

C.      Management of Assemblies moving from Production Status to Service

D.      Work with internal & external customers to disposition obsolete tools

         Initiate Price Justification by completion of Customer Price Breakdown Form

E.       Respond to Customer Tool Audit Requests

F.       Work with Purchasing regarding logistics of pre-production material

G.      RFQ logging/assigning tracking number.

H.      Work in compliance with other departments to setup an initial quote meeting.

I.      Request, gather and input the information that is required from all designated channels to complete the various steps that are mandatory in the quoting process. 

J.      Communicate with the account manger on matters regarding customer issues.

K.     Co-ordinate and update the tracking and or logging of outstanding financial issues. Assist (when applicable) the accounting department in solving accounts receivable issues.

L.      Administer the “Request for Paperwork” for production and or non-production items.

M.     Administrate and maintain communications with customers through the internet connections as required.

N.     Contribute to fundamental phases of QOS reporting. 

O.     Update and maintain customer specific databases and forms.

P.     Creation, maintenance and or tracking of work orders.             

Q.     Creation and maintenance of various forms:

  • Piece price matrix
  • Piece price tracking form
  • Tooling tracking form
  • Tooling breakdown form
  • Quotation letter
  • Customer specific forms
  • Quote vs. Actual analysis.
  • Contract reviews.
  • Kardex , or equivalent, part number history file.

R.    Support and encourage KAIZEN activities within the working environment while adopting and practicingKAIZEN principles and concepts withdepartment personnel.


Basic Requirements:

a)        Must have engineering background.

b)        Minimum of 2 years related business experience 

c)        Intermediate computer skills in Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Internet and Databases.

d)        Strong written and oral communication skills; plus the ability to effectively interact with outside customers, suppliers and all levels of employees internally in a multicultural environment.
