Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a famous Canadian Retail Company is looking for outstanding reasonal warehouse supervisor for afternoon shift. 

Mississauga, ON

Shift times:  
Afternoon Shift l Monday - Friday 3:30pm-12:30am (shift premium available)

Job Responsibilities include:

• Supporting a team of associates (24 to 50 employees) in the execution of plans, within the timelines, constraints and available resources
• Identifies and address potential departmental obstacles to meet daily and weekly production requirements.
• Effectively executes production plans and targets.
• Utilizes data and information to provide direction and achievement of daily targets.
• Responsible for driving priorities while addressing obstacles.
• Accurately assesses Associate productivity and job performance, and provides appropriate training, coaching and development opportunities through hands-on involvement.
• Organizes, plans and ensures work assignments are allocated and assigned appropriately, and monitors adherence to established work methods, and operations health and safety standards. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of leadership/supervisory experience
• Experience supervising a group of 10-50 associates
• Experience with high volume, fast paced, labour intensive, constantly changing production atmosphere
• Able to translate and implement overall departmental goals and objectives that support the business strategy, and executes them through teamwork and motivating others
• Ability to collaboratively work with others to achieve the goals while maintaining and enhancing the culture
• Makes timely sound decisions on issues and operations plan even when the situation is uncertain or ambiguous
• Listens attentively and communicates effectively
• Manages time and activities effectively
• A clear criminal background
