Contract: 05/23/2016 to 04/28/2017

Campus IT Recruiter (contractor – 1 year)
Payrate: $29.00/hr


MUST HAVE:
-Seasoned recruitment experience dealing with non-entry level roles, 2 yrs+
-Relationship management; very sharp and interpersonal skills as they will be communicating with high level management
- Ability to source effectively (i.e: using Linkedin or Boolean searches to seek passive candidates)
-Experience working in a high volume environment
-Excellent MS Office skills, internet, and computer skills
-Great impact and influencing skills

NICE TO HAVE:
-Banking and financial experience with similar project skills (preference will be given to candidates with retail banking)


Job description.

Campus Talent Acquisition (TA) Team represents the overall Campus talent advisory function of the Bank. The team plays a key role in supporting the business through sourcing, identifying and selecting top Campus talent. Partnering closely business line leadership, Talent Advisors within the Campus TA team take a consultative approach to talent acquisition engagements and are accountable for full life cycle recruitment. They are also equipped and empowered to actively promote employment value proposition through the use of HR technology and social tools that enables the telling of the story to the external marketplace.

Reporting to the Canadian Campus Recruitment Manager Talent, the IT Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of IT Campus Talent acquisition. This position will focus on proactively sourcing and acquiring Campus talent in support of the technology talent strategy across the organization in Canada. The position will partner with IT Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to build talent pipelines based on current and anticipated talent needs. The TS Strategy defines our mission and goals, bringing all TS employees together to contribute to our success through Partnership, Speed-to-Market, Simplified IT, talent management, governance and transparency.


Accountabilities

Act as the Campus Talent Advisor for the Technology portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and IT business they support, deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
• Manage all aspects of the recruitment process; develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging campus relations and building Campus pipeline of diverse technology talent
• Responsible for planning Campus events to sustain Technology Campus Branding across Canadian Campuses
• Executes on determined Campus strategies and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach with Campus Talent
• Cultivate strong relationships with HR and IT business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal Campus sourcing strategies
• Maintain, analyze, and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing strategies; drive recruitment activities and consult with IT hiring managers
• Focus on creating a legendary IT Hiring Manager and Campus Candidate Experience throughout the recruiting cycle


• Promote Campus brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and Campus networks
• Post-secondary education an asset; progressive work experience in addition to the experience below
• 5+ years Campus IT Recruitment experience in a Corporate and/or Agency environment
• Ability to build strong client and Campus relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build networks and source talent leveraging innovative methods and tools
• Ability to impact and influence key stakeholders; demonstrated consultative approach
• Clear team orientation and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve common goals
