Senior Shipping Officer

Our client is a Large International Food Trading Company. 

 Currently, we are seeking an experienced Senior Shipping Officer to join the company.

Job duties

·         Coordinate timely dispatches with domestics and overseas vendors

·         Negotiate rates with suppliers such as carriers, warehouse operators and insurance companies

·         Prepare tariffs for customers, ensuring the require profit margins as directed by the company are achieved.

·          Prepare Import/Export documentations for international shipments

·         Communicate with internal and external clients to keep them abreast of
 dispatch and transportation status

·         Organize open order records and documentations, including filings and data entries

·          Assist with freight cost analysis

Key qualifications

·         Hands on experience in food international trade to Asian market

·         Familiar with Freight, room temperature container, 

·         Experience in Beef-Pork exportation business is an asset

·        Trilingual (English, Mandarin and Cantonese)

·         Reporting to Vice President

Salary: 50k -55k

Working Location: Bloor and Avenue, Toronto

Shift: 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday
