Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics, pharma, and cleaning products in North America.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role preferably within the Contract Manufacturing or CPG industry
- Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) processes
- Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience with PLM system is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft applications, particularly MS-Excel & MS-Project
- Excellent communication skills
- Enrollment or completion of PMO program would be an asset
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates execution of new product launches, product re-launches and product discontinuations
- Ongoing risk management: understand, document and track the risks on a given project assessing for probability and impact.
- Track the progress of the project ensuring completion of follow up items from the various functional teams involved
- Regularly communicates key milestones and risk assessments to the stakeholders – leads weekly meetings and publishes meeting minutes
- Develop and execute run out plans for finished goods, working with Supply Chain to minimize liability
- Develop and execute run out plans for component, working with Supply Chain to minimize liability
- Maintains customer database
- Facilitates sample requests and sample mock ups
- Reviews and approves specifications for accuracy
- Reviews and approves first production pictures
- Coordinates with various functional teams on Customer Requirements
