Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturing company for cosmetics, pharma, and cleaning products in North America.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role preferably within the Contract Manufacturing or CPG industry
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) processes
  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with PLM system is an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, particularly MS-Excel & MS-Project
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enrollment or completion of PMO program would be an asset

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates execution of new product launches, product re-launches and product discontinuations
  • Ongoing risk management: understand, document and track the risks on a given project assessing for probability and impact.
  • Track the progress of the project ensuring completion of follow up items from the various functional teams involved
  • Regularly communicates key milestones and risk assessments to the stakeholders – leads weekly meetings and publishes meeting minutes
  • Develop and execute run out plans for finished goods, working with Supply Chain to minimize liability
  • Develop and execute run out plans for component, working with Supply Chain to minimize liability
  • Maintains customer database
  • Facilitates sample requests and sample mock ups
  • Reviews and approves specifications for accuracy
  • Reviews and approves first production pictures
  • Coordinates with various functional teams on Customer Requirements
