Facility Supervisor/Service Technician_Montreal

Our client is a leading manufacturer and systems provider of quality packaging solutions. 

This role is split into two major categories: Facility Supervision and Field Service.

Facility Supervisor:

• Ensure facility is functional clean, proper and well organized;
• Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for showcase;
• Manage facility inventory;
• All documentation relating to shipping, receiving, testing, etc;
• Operate equipment and perform: sales demonstrations, product validation, factory acceptance tests (FAT’s), machine testing, quality testing, as well as any other request pertaining to operating the equipment;
• Support sales in whatever capacity possible including but not limited to: speaking to customers, reviewing quotes/projects, and onsite assessments;
• Technical tradeshow management including on-site management of technical personnel;
• Establish training center and provide monthly seminars.

Field Service:

• Field service support by traveling to customer facilities to provide: start-up, training and field service;
  o Regional – Within driving distance;
  o International – Mostly traveling throughout North America you can expect travel up to 1 week a month;
• Focuse on setting up/installing new machinery, training clients;
• Create literature and media to help improve customer experience. Including but not limited to: standard operating procedures (SOP’s), preventative maintenance programs (PMP), troubleshooting guides, manuals and training.

Job requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment;
• 5 years of pertinent experience as a traveling service representative;
• Strong knowledge of: mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, pneumatics, PLC, servo, VFD;
• Ability to read electrical schematics and to troubleshoot;
• Valid drivers license;
• Ability to traveling into the United States and abroad;
• Minimum DEP;

Salary: $65-75k annual with 10 hours expected overtime per week
