Millwright Mechanic

Our client is a leading quality manufacturer of automotive stampings and sub assemblies in Toronto.

Shift: Day

 

Duties

Troubleshoot / repair production equipment which includes, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics.

Able to replace hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components such as cylinders, gearboxes, pumps motors and valves.

Able to use equipment such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.

Able to fabricate frames, platforms and other structural components, using torches, Mig and Tig welder.

Able to perform basic electrical troubleshooting tasks and is able to change fuses or switches.

Able to improve hydraulic circuits and systems for leaks, cleanliness of oil replacement of pipes or hoses.

Able to update hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic circuit diagrams of production equipment if any changes are made.

Able to select and specify hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components for purchasing purposes.es are made.

Able to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

 

Minimum Knowledge and Prerequisites

- Licensed Millwright Mechanic

- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role.

- Able to communicate well in English (verbal and written)

- Knowledge of TS16949 policies and procedures.

- Robotics experience an asset

- Read and interpret blue prints

- Basic electrical knowledge and good troubleshooting skills.
