Senior Data Entry Clerk

Our client is a leading Bank in Canada. We are now hiring for experienced Data Entry clerks.

 

Project:
        • Working on a product transfer campaign

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
        • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners. 
        • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
        • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. 
        • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work. 
        • Actioning tasks coming through work flow processes
        • Perform other duties as assigned

Must Have Skills:
        • Willing to learn new technologies (going back and forth between pages, monitoring, manipulating, keyboard shortcuts etc.)
        • 1-2 years of work related experience
        • Critical thinking skills

Nice to Have Skills:
        • Production/Administrative experience
        • Comfortable with Green Screen technologies such as TSYS

Education
        • High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills and Competencies: 
        • Good verbal and written communication skills
        • Strong attention to detail
        • Interpersonal skills
        • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
        • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
        • Previous experience with different systems is an asset
Hours of Work: 7.5 hours a day either 8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
Contract Length: 4 months
LOB: Operations

Start/End Dates: 5/11/2015 - 9/10/2015
