Junior Service Representative--Montreal

Our client is a leading Canadian Bank. We are now hiring for an experienced Service Representative to assist wire payments and processing.

Daily Responsibilities:
        • Answering customer calls to initiate wire transfers for personal and commercial clients from Canada, US or other foreign countries
        • Provide advice to internal business partners and peers to support the completion of wire payments and processing. 
        • Provide input and analysis into the continuous improvement of business processes and procedures within the scope of the work team, and participate in the planning, testing and implementation of projects and new/ revised products/ services or processes. 
        • Provide on-the-job assistance and training to others, as requested. 
        • Handling 25-30 phone calls daily
        • Inputting wire transfers which are received via phone, fax, and email
        • Interacting with teammates, customers and other lines of business such as Help Desk, Investigations, etc.

Top Must Have Skills:
        • Excellent communication skills in English
        • University degree
        • Strong problem solving capabilities

Top Nice to Have Skills: (1-2 years of related experience)
        • Previous experience in the financial industry, operations, and/or fast paced environment
        • Call center experience

Some of the key services Payment Operations offers are:
        • Payments in Canadian dollars, US dollars and Sundry Foreign currencies (i.e.: EUR, GBP, CHF, etc.)
        • Investigation follow-up and problem resolution supporting cash management services (GTM), Corporate and other Bank Relationship management inquiries.
        • Direct Access for corporate clients (Harris DLU )
        • Real time risking with the accounting system (CBDS and MECH)
        • Settlement/Liquidity risk control for CAD dollar exchange with Canadian Banks (LVTS)
