Key Responsibilities: •Conduct Welder qualification testing, document and maintain results. •Develop and maintain Procedure Qualification Records ( PQR ) •Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications ( WPS ) •Program robotic weld cells •Seek and develop new robotic initiatives for manually welded products •Co-ordinate tooling and fixture builds •Develop and support Continuous Improvement initiatives •Comply with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and the OHSA. •Other duties as may be assigned. Requirements: •Certified Weld Engineer •One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance Instructions and procedure manuals. •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. •Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or the organization. •Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. •Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Salary Negotiable Shift 8am-5pm
