Regional Controller

A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Regional Controller in Woodbridge.

Job Description

• Responsible for financial management, including cost accounting, forecasting and budgeting for a group of manufacturing plants
  
• Supporting the company wide SOX initiatives.
  
• Build upon each plant’s management team’s success in producing profitable operating results

• Accurately complete the month-end financial close and forecast preparation
• Measure and record business transactions including General Ledger, A/P, Payroll, Inventory and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure that all reserves, write-offs and accruals are timely and appropriate.

• Prepare insightful variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate internal and external audit requirements at the plant level.
• Prepare all capital appropriations requests.

• Prepare annual budget.

Requirements

• Ability and desire to drive profitability improvements at the plant level
• Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment, satisfying multiple customers.
• Effective communicator, both verbally and written. 
• Team player
• Accuracy in all levels of work
• Bachelors Degree (Accounting or Finance)
• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Enterprise Business Software
• Oracle E-Business Suite experience is an asset
