Event Drape Installer_$16.50/hr

Toronto's leading event rental comany is looking for Drape Istaller to join the team. The Event Drape Installer will be working onsite, venues and tents to install and remove drapery for Corporate, Weddings and Private functions across the GTA. Attention to detail and able to work at height is required.

Location: East York (Eglinton Ave E and Brentcliffe Rd) 

Shift Hour: Starts at 6:30 AM, 40 hours per week, opporunity for overtime 

Pay rate: $16.50/hr

Job Requirements 

• Drape set up for corporate/Weddings and Private Functions
• Preparation of Hardware and Fabric for orders loading vehicles
• Set up of Pipe and Drape for Ballrooms/Event Spaces
• Special drape treatments on ceilings and sides of tents (working outdoors weather elements)
• Work closely with Event Coordinators/Venue Special Events Coordinators/take pride in the details of customer
  service
• Unloading trucks after event and inventory items checking for damage. Restocking for next usage
• Keep Drape area in warehouse organized and clean
• Assist with washing/folding & hanging of fabric 

Qualification 

• Heavy lifting and assembly required, able to lift up to 40lbs
• Able to work under pressure/ multiple jobs in one day
• Work on ladders/scaffolding at heights (safety training provided)
• Available to work weekends and occasional teardown at the end of an event (after midnight)
• Valid Drivers license and access to a vehicle
