Assembler/ Packager

POSITION SUMMARY

Manufacture complete assemblies using a variety of hand & power tools, ensuring company quality, delivery and safety targets are met. Package completed material ensuring product is protected from damage consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricate assemblies according to manufacturing drawings, following detailed assembly instruction and training
• Metal fabrication including drilling, tapping, cutting and deburring
• Operate power tools in a safe manner
• Meet scheduled completion dates
• Follow quality control processes and complete inspection report as required
• Maintain a clean work station
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Manager

OTHER

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Able to read technical drawings
• Ability to work quickly and accurately while producing to Quality Standards
• Required to abide by Employee Handbook
• Capable of lifting weights up to 35 kg

SHIFT

Morning: 7am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri.) $13.00

Afternoon: 4pm – 2am (Mon-Thur.) $13.50
