POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for operation of CNC machines to meet schedule, yields, and quality targets. Maintain equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program, set up and safely operate CNC machinery
• Maintain equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines. Order and replace commonly worn parts on a regular basis
• Ability to follow detailed work instruction
• Review and request orders of sheet stock as needed
• Meet or exceed schedule delivery dates for work cell
• Maintain specifications by measuring, detecting defects, troubleshooting processes, and adjusting and/ or re-programming controls
• Follow quality control processes; complete inspection documentation as required
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Manager

OTHER

• Experience operating computer controlled equipment a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of basic equipment maintenance
• Required to abide by Employee Handbook
• Capable of lifting weights up to 25 kg

Wage rate: $15.00/hr

Morning Shift: 7am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri.)
