3rd or 4th Class Stationary Engineer

A leading disposable container company is looking for Stationary Engineer to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on their machinery and equipment.

Duties:

• effective maintenance of all air compressors and fire protection system;
• preventative maintenance procedures and daily troubleshooting of utility services;
• routine building maintenance repairs;
• tracking and trending performance readings from all service equipment.

Qualifications / Certifications:

The 3^rd or 4^th Class Stationary position requires experience working with pumps, compressors, motors and HVAC units.

• possession of or in the process of securing a valid 3^rd or 4^th Class Ontario License;
• ability to meet physical demands of the job, including climbing, lifting up to 60 lbs.etc.;
• strong mechanical aptitude;
• ability to read and write English;
• good interpersonal skills;
• ability to work with minimal supervision;
• a good work, safety and attendance record;
• ability to successfully perform and pass a technical test to measure mechanical abilities

Day shift between 7 am to 3 pm.
