Assembler in Sarnia

Our client company - Refrigerated Trailer manufactory is currently seeking motivated Assembler to join their growing team in a fast-paced manufacturing Plant in Sarnia!

Shift: Monday through Thursday 7:30 am to 6 pm with overtime availability on Fridays.

Location: Blackwell Side Rd & Hwy 402, Sarnia

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Rate of Pay: $18 to $20 per hour depending on position and experience.

Bonus: Weekly bonus program for all hourly employees.

Summary: Performs repetitive line assembly operations to mass-produce refrigeration trailers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·        Requires a minimum of ten hours of standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements.

·        Regularly required to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Sometimes required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

·        Must be able to work in an environment requiring the use of a ladder, stairs, heights, platforms and climbing in and out of trailers or working under trailers in tight spaces.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

·        Must have the ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools safely, work with compressed air safely, operate fork trucks safely and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)

·        Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

·        Works on the line where tasks vary as different models of the same article moves along the line.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform a variety of semi-skilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions.  Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and spec sheets.  To follow the general safety rules. May be required to do other duties as requested by supervisor. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement. Performs work at a quality level consistent with CIMC Refrigerated Trailer Co., Ltd. standard practice.
