Industrial Painter_ $21/hour (Scarborough)

A leading HVAC fluid technology company is looking to hire an industrial painter. The Painter will prepare all surfaces and apply a wide variety of coatings to obtain high quality and decorative finishes using a paint booth.

Company location: Scarborough( Eglinton and Warden ), TTC accessible! Easy Access!

Shift: Afternoon shift, 3pm to 11pm

Pay rate: $18 - $21

Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shift every day, Overtime! 

Responsibilities: 

• Clean and prep surfaces using processes such as sanding, scraping and grinding.
• Use of spray equipment to apply the required material.
• Experience with electrostatics.
• Application of a protective coating to a variety of metal material surfaces.
• Monitor extractors, drying fans and heaters.
• Maintain paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
• Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee
• Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

• Perceptive, responsible and accountable and a Team player.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in spray painting in an industrial paint booth environment.
• Must have paint and electrostatic experience.
• Must have the ability to use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Experience with overhead cranes.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
