Bilingual Customer Service Agent (Montreal)

Our Client is a leading Canadian Bank which provides growing opportunity within the organization.

The customer contact center agent will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

Education/Experience:

*High School Diploma or equivalent.

*1 to 3 years customer service related experience required.

Skills and Competencies:

*Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

*Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

*Ability to comprehend and communicate in more than one language.

*Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

*Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*Resolve customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills.

*Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.

*Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

*Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Qualifications:

-English and French expert level 
-Passion for helping customers 
-Sales and service oriented with a demonstrated ability to proactively listen, identify sales opportunities and solve problems 
-Strong communication skills (over the telephone and in person) 
-Solid computer and multi-tasking skills 
-Team player 

Day Training 
During the training period, candidates must be available for a seven week period from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the theoretical training and between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the practical training. 

Availability per shift:

Days 6:30am to 9:00pm                  $18.16/hour
Evening 2:00pm to 12:00am          $19.66/hour

Note:

Each shift will be 8 hours duration with 1 hour lunch break

Each candidate will be scheduled 5 days per week (35 hours per week) between Monday to Sunday, sometimes statutory holidays as well. Candidates must be fully flexible for the 7 days per week since the work schedule can be any days during the week and will be scheduled for one day of the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.
