Shipper/ Material Handler (Night Shift)

Our client is a leading meat processing company. They are looking for licensed Shipper to join the team.

Department:                Distribution Centre - Shipping       

Shift:                           Nights

Hours of Work:           9:00 pm – 5:30 am

Days of Work:             Monday To Friday                       

Classification & Rate: $19.66 + Benefits (health insurance, pension plan) after 720 hours.

                                    Will be part of union from date of joining.        

Responsibilities:

·       Place various products into designated storage areas.

·       Pick orders using the scanning system and stage loads.

·       Maintain inventory.

·       Work on blast freezer as required.

·       Load/unload trailers and containers as required.

·       Operate forklift, reach truck, rider, counter balance machines – Material Handling Equipment training required

·       Utilized as a back-up.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·       Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.

·       Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to/including 50 lbs.

·       Reach truck experience required.

·       Forklift operation testing to be performed prior to start.
