Packer / General Labour / Machine Operator, Summerstown, ON, Cornwall, ON

Our client, a leading manufacturer of food packaging, having below openings:

Location: Summerstown, ON

Position type: Temp to Perm

1) Lid Line Packer

Pay rate: $16.30/hr

Shift: 12-hour Continental rotational shift nights and days (7 am-7 pm, 7 pm-7 am)

Qualifications: Less than 6 months of manufacturing experince 

2) Operator

Shift:  Evening (3pm to 11pm, Mon to Fri) & Night (11pm to 7am, Sun-Thurs)

Pay rate: $17/hr, plus premium for night shift

Qualifications:

• High School completion required
• Less than 6 months manufacturing experience
• Math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide), use fractions, decimals etc. Able to use calculator to determine percentages.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding mechanical systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues relating to its operation
• Understanding of production measurement tools such as level, etc.
• Detailed record keeping

Referral Bonus:  $150 if the referred person works over 350 hours
