Shipping and Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator

Our client, a fast-growing engineering resources company, is hiring Shipping and Receiving / Forklift Operators to join the team.

• Working Location: Barrie, ON.
• Competitive compensation  
• Full-time hours, 44 hours per week
• All shifts available, straight Day, Afternoon, Night shift.
• Must have counterbalance and Raymond Reach license.

Job Duties: 

• Responsible for the preparation of all shipping and receiving documentation.
• Determines the best and most cost-effective route of shipment.
• Prepping labels for skids.
• Coordinating the flow of trucks in the yard.
• Data entry to record shipping materials and costs.
• Investigating all claims of shipping variances.
• Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
• Sort and distribute incoming shipments.

Job Specifications:

• Forklift experience specifically with Counterbalance and Raymond Reach.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in shipping and receiving.
• Skilled with UPS, Purolator, FedEx shipping software.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and is able to work as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, independent Work, eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization.
• Good computer skills.
