Machine Operator/ Assemblers - $18.98/hr

Leading car parts manufacturing company is looking for Assemblers, Machine Operators and General Helpers to work in Concord and Vaughan areas.

Full-time job, 40 hours per week.

All shifts are available

Location: Concord, Vaughan, ON (Dufferin/Langstaff)

Shift and Wage Info: 

Morning:    6am - 2pm, base pay $17.50, plus 4% vacation pay, total $18.20/hr
Afternoon:  2pm - 10pm, base pay $18.10, plus 4% vacation pay, total $18.82/hr
Night:        10pm - 6am, base pay $18.25, plus 4% vacation pay, total $18.98/hr

Job Duties and Requirements

• Responsibilities include General Assembly and other operations, and inspection.
• Performs production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals.  May perform work manually and/or by machine operation.
• Ensures product and process quality and efficiency through appropriate inspection and continuous improvement problem-solving activities.
• Maintains procedures and standards to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned areas.
• Report any unsafe condition or action to his or her supervisor.
• Report any work-related injury to his or her supervisor.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Understand responsibility for health and safety.
• Wear appropriate PPE (CSA-approved safety shoes and safety glasses)
• Follow all the safety rules
• Perform other duties as necessary in support of team objectives.
