Press Set Up Operator / Punch Press Machine Operator

Our client is a leading Automobile manufacturing company.

We are looking for a Press Set-Up Operator / Technician to start ASAP.

Afternoon shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) 

Wage: $22 - $24. 

Working location: Concord, Vaughan,  Keele and Langstaff

Responsibilities:

• Improve transfer recipes when required
• Must be able to run a shift and fill in for Production Supervisor
• Recommend improvements in processes
• Train operators as required
• Manage all related PLEX issues by troubleshooting, re-training associates and following up with Supervisor
• Monitor quality of parts and follow the outlined process
• Troubleshoot issues pertaining to quality, run-ability and transfers

Work Experience:

• Preferably 2 plus years of automotive stamping experience.
• Must have experience with die set up and run transfer presses
• Ability to independently do die set-ups on presses
• Must be able to independently run all transfer presses
• Understand all functions of stamping press, feeder and de-coiler
• Understand the dynamics of progressive dies during the production run
• Proven leadership skills, which may include training operators
• Must have own transportation and must be able to travel when required
