Order Picker Operator (Night) - Derry & Kennedy

Our client, a leading manufacturer of furnitures, is looking for a Order Picker & Clamp trucks Operator to join their Mississauga facility.

Position : Forklift Operator

(Must have valid order picker forklift license)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Derry & Kennedy)

Pay rate: $17+/hr

Shift: 10 pm - 6:30 am (overnight)

Responsibilities:

Operate Clamp trucks and Order Picker equipment
Working the overnight shift 10pm – 6:30am
Conduct all general functions within the warehouse environment, including but not limited to put-a-way of all product types, and housekeeping functions
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all manufacturers specifications and handling instructions
Uphold all company Health and Safety, Security, and Operational Policies and Procedures
Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures
Complete all required forms and documents in a neat, legible manner

Knowledge & Skills Required:

Proficient level on WMS systems and procedures is considered an asset
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. plus
Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques

Education & Experience Required:

Minimum 6 months working experience in a Warehousing/Distribution environment
Minimum 6 months working experience in a computerized inventory controlled environment
Equipment operator experience on OP and Clamp truck is required.
