Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading beauty company, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing team.

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Working hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: up to 100K (depends on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Participates in design and development project meetings as the Quality representative supporting compliance and the company's Quality position in product deisgn and documentation.
• Provides Quality support to all new product and technologytransfers to the company's facilities.
• Interacts with personnel in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Operations, Customer Service, Maintenance and R&D teams to design, plan, write protocols, execute,document results, writes reports, and gain the required approvals for all validation activities. Validation activities include, but are not limited to product processing, product packaging and utilities.
• Drives the qualification of Compounding, filling Equipment's (DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ), new suppliers related to new products and tech transfer projects.
• Ensures all technology transfer and new product projects are successfully executed, fully documented and compliant with all corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Manage production processes to comply with all applicable standards and regulations including, cGMP, Health Canada, EU and FDA regulations.
• Recommendsand implements Quality process improvements with the approval of Quality Manager.
• Perform validations (DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ) or participate in validation teams or work on analystical equipment's as requested.

Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent in Science or related area.
• 10 years of experience in Quality Process Engineer role in the Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic Industry.
• ASQ CQE required.
• Excellent communication and document writing skills.
• For document management: advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and programming Macro.
