Press operator - Concord

We are looking for Press operator for Global Automotive supplier.

Afternoon shift 3pm-11pm (Mon-Fri)

Salary is from $16.50-$20/hr base on experience

Job Info:

To assist in the manufacturing process as assigned, performing all the general functions of a Secondary Machine Operator as listed below, while meeting the established customer requirements at our facility.  To perform operations on product, ensuring quality of product to be placed into inventory or to be shipped to customers.  Employee rotates through weld cells and punch press machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates machinery and performs work processes as assigned to produce quality product that meets customer specifications.  Work processes performed may include:
• Punch press/coining
• Drilling
• Rivetter
• tapping
• Inspection
• Hydraulic press
• Packer
• Rework
• Completes production and inspection reports as required
• Maintains safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the Superiors.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Superiors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Previous work experience in a stamping environment beneficial
• Ability to work overtime if required.

POSITIONAL SUITABILITY / WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Previous experience with secondary operations would be an asset.
• Punch press experience would be an asset.
• Must be able to understand, read and write in excellent English.
• Environments can be noisy and oily
