Accounting Analyst

Our client, a private equity firm, is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team. We are looking for accounting professioanls with at least 2 years of relevant experience as well as strong MS Excel and Quickbooks skills. 

Full-time, perm role

Salary: $50K-$65K

Reporting to the Director of Accounting and Finance, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for full cycle accounting for existing operating companies and will get the opportunity to work on start-ups in exciting new industries.

Responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Accounts payable
• Invoicing and receivables
• Month end journal entries and account reconciliations
• Reporting and analysis as required
• Implement online document storage and retention for operating companies
• Assist with implementation of accounting processes and policies
• Continuous improvement projects and adhoc tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Completion of post-secondary education in Accounting
• High competency level in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
• Experience with Quickbooks preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize effectively
