Bakery Line Worker-Morning 7 AM, start ASAP

Our client is a leading manufacturer, marketer and distributor of private label and branded food products.

The company supplies organic and conventional peanut & tree nut butters, baking nuts, dried fruit and trail mixes to leading grocery retailers, top food service distributors and industrial bakeries.

We are currently seeking Bakery Workers to work on a full-time basis in our Mississauga, ON location.

Available shifts include:

Full Time

Mondays to Fridays from 7:00am to 6:30pm (morning shift)

Position Summary:

Reporting to a Production Supervisor, the Production Worker may perform a variety of duties relating to the production of private label and branded food products in the plant. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely perform duties as assigned within production lines; may include packaging, mixing, frying and roasting functions
May operate lifting devices including pallet jack or manually load and unload materials from pallets
Follow established processes and procedures to ensure correct labelling on packaging
Accurately weigh packages and report discrepancies according to standard procedures
Follow all workplace safety policies, GMPs and compliance regulations
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Able to effectively communicate in CHINESE MANDARIN both verbally and in writing
Adaptable, punctual, detail-oriented, flexible, innovative thinker

Hearing protection, safety/lab coats and hair net and/or beard net (if applicable) are required and provided by the company
Steel toed shoes are required to be worn at all times while on site.
