Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, currently, we are looking for Warehouse Manager to join the team in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for all the warehouse operations (including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, auditing and loading operations), inventory operations (control, quality and reverse logistics) and facilities/maintenance operations within all distribution/warehouse centers.
- Responsible for all work personnel actions within the Warehouse (hiring, coaching, developing, training, labor planning and morale).
- Drive inventory accuracy for all company inventory (including inventory stored at our outside storage locations).
- Actively participate in the day to day operations of the distribution center (DC) (planning, driving flow, interacting with team on the floor, managing by walking around and real-time coaching and developing).
- Actively slot and maintain the proper inventory layout that supports proper order “flow” and improves quality, productivity and safety.
- Lead the warehouse operations in environmental, health and safety along with all security and compliance policies and laws.
- Timely reporting of all work-related injuries and provide medical attention to injured employees as necessary.
- Serve as a leader in Lean Management and process improvement.
- Oversee department profit and loss (P&L) and active forecast (thorough understanding of drivers) and drive improvements through process changes/improvements.
- Maintain and improve the cross-training program while ensuring that the warehouse meets their current key performance indicators (quality, safety, cost, service and accuracy, delivery, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of warehouse management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of proper Warehouse operations is required (flow, slotting, inventory management, etc.).
- Working knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems is a must.
- Communicate and collaborate with other managers in the facility to ensure the coordination of operational activities and initiatives within the building.
- A broad range of management skills are required (leadership, coaching, developing, planning, lean/six sigma, process improvement, communication (oral and written), change management).
- Must have a professional presence and properly communicate within the organization.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis and operational analysis
- Extensive experience and skill in retail distribution processes, logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations and transportation management
