Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading medical devices provider is looking for a customer service representative to join their growing team.

 

Location: Oakvilla, ON,

Shift time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm or 6:30am– 3:00pm, flexible with these two shifts 

Pay rate: up to 25/hour for temp to perm role

 

Job Description:

  • Process service returns, using Oracle and software applications as required.
  • Create repair/service work orders and issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs).
  • Receives and places calls to customers for return of merchandise, informs customers of repair costs and secures customer repair authorization purchase orders.
  • Submit repair/service quotes to customers and obtain repair authorization.
  • Complete repair/service work orders and submit charges for invoicing.
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries about repair/service status.
  • Prepare repair summaries to customers regarding findings and service performed.
  • Prepare Pack Slips, Shipper Letter of Instructions (SLI) and Commercial Invoices.
  • Assist in the maintenance of service performance and trending reports.
  • Maintain product – tracking databases/spreadsheets.
  • Maintain customer files.
  • Administer service/repair parts ordering for internal and external customers.
  • Assist with warehouse environment tasks such as inventory organization, storage and receiving.
  • Submit product complaints. Ensure complaints are processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Coordination and processing of service and repair loaners to sales reps and/or customers while products are being serviced by the company.
  • Performs simple diagnostics checks to determine problems and, if detected, routes the part to the appropriate facility in the USA for repair and or to our local Canadian Repair/Service Technician.
  • Observes company policies and safety procedures
  • Other duties and assignments as may become necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: University or College Degree preferred.
  • Greater than 2 years related experience with medical device customer service responsibilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle R12 and Internet skills preferred.
