Material Planner

Leading Cosmetics manufacturing company is hiring Material Planner to start ASAP!!

The Material Planner will source and procure materials and services that will support the manufacturing operations in the goal of continuous improvement and excellence in product quality, customer service and profitability.

Full-time Permanent, Day shift

Working Location: Scarborough

Key Competencies required:

• Basic ERP/MRP system knowledge, general knowledge in supply chain flow and unit cost negotiation
• Procure – procurement of goods and services
• Sourcing – sourcing and negotiating price, terms and volume discounts
• Vendor Relationship – develop partnership relationships to integrate within the supply chain
• Develop – opportunities for vendor managed inventory processes
• Monitor, Review, Manage – the performance of suppliers to ensure quality, service and pricing expectations
• Audit– perform audits and deliver results
• Liaison – internal and external communication to exceed requirements of vendor qualification programs
• Support – provide support to cross-functional teas to minimize cost and service impact through effective return replacement, credit and cross charges
• Ownership – capable of making decisions based on data and accountable for the decisions
• Sensory Attention - detail-oriented, ability to multi-task

What you will bring:

• Degree in Business or Certificate in Business
• PMAC Certification  would be an asset
• 2-3 years’ experience in supply planning in a consumer goods industry, preferably in manufacturing and/or cosmetics
• Strong computer skills, and proficiency in Excel
