Industrial Electrician

Leading manufacturer of plastic goods in the automotive industry seeking Licensed Electricians to work on our Maintenance Team.

Responsibilities

• Advanced troubleshooting and repairing of AC/DC drives
• Apply knowledge of electronic systems for advanced troubleshooting of VFD controller
• Perform preventative maintenance for electrical and pneumatic control systems

Requirements

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442-A)
• 4+ years’ experience as an Electrician in a Canadian manufacturing facility
• Familiar with PLC programming
• Must have experience with robotics, pneumatics, and motors
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and electrical schematic diagrams
• Familiar with lock out/tag out and safety practices
• Asset will include: Fall Arrest, Forklift, and/or Scissor lift training
• Good oral and written communication skills

Technical Skills

• Electronic Systems (PLCs, servo systems, robotics, computers)
• Mechanical systems (moulding machines, gears, chains, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes)
• Hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, servo systems, circuits, cylinders)
• Electrical (high voltage wiring and switches, AC/DC motors, lighting, transformers)
