Banking Operations Officer III
Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for Operations Officer to join their growing team. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills with a high preference for previous banking experience
Contract term: 25/02/2019 to 23/08/2019
Pay rate: $22.39 /hour
Full-time: 37.5 hours
Schedule:Monday to Friday , 8.30am-5.00pm

- Excellent communication skills
- Eager to learn and grow and take on new task
- Finance background
- Corporate Action experience
- Nostro/Vostro/Suspense account reconciliation experience
- Capital markets experience

Summary:The position is responsible for a variety of key operational processes in support of Fixed Income settlements banking Securities. As an Operations Officer will participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process daily Corporate Actions
- Understand and maintain the process of transactions between front office and back office systems
- Reconcile data within RCM/Anvil ION/Calypso Cash/CDS/FIS/Bloomberg including investigation and escalation of outstanding position & cash breaks
- Follow up on exceptions, identify their causes and escalate for resolution.
- Provide a high level of service in assisting process partners to identify, locate and resolve cash in or security settlement differences.
- Escalate client issues as appropriate – ensure communication with key stakeholders elsewhere/Operations & Technology
- Develop and maintain working relationships with internal partners for the purposes of delivering optimal customer service
- Adhere to operating standards and processes
