Our client, a leading Canadian banking institution, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing team. We are looking for a individuals with strong MS Office Skills with a high preference for previous banking experience
Contract term: 21/01/2019 to 20/07/2019
Pay rate: $15.50/hour
Full-time: 37.5 hrs
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
Must haves:
- Data entry skills
- Previous administrative experience
- Friendly, dependable, and organized
- Focused, with the ability to work independently
- Have excellent time management, multitasking, task planning and prioritization skills
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Internet Explorer)
- Attention to Detail
Nice to haves:
- Bilingual – French & English
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides timely collection of accounts.
- Handles fair share of incoming calls
- Responsible for making contact by both telephone and correspondence, with respect to overdue payments.
- Handles client inquiries in regards to client accounts or PAD by telephone, letter, or in person.
- Forwards registered letters and cancels policies for non-payment.
- Prepares account adjustments for arrears, return cheques and write-offs.
- Enters abeyance notes and instructions.
- Reviews abeyance file and ensures instructions are followed.
- Follows up on daily abeyances in a timely manner.
- Interacts with the Client Service Center, and provides support regarding accounting issues.
- Ensures department objectives are met on time.
